Zero Waste Wardrobe

Description

Take back control of your wardrobe with outfits that not only make you feel good, but saves time, money and the environment.
Fashion is a form of self expression - our outfits speak volumes of our personality, creativity and taste. But the way we’ve been consuming fashion leaves much to be desired. In our current world of hyper consumption and fast fashion, the environment pays the heaviest price. And we are doing no better. Trend chasing, and social media envy hurts both our wallets and the way we feel about ourselves. The pressure to always be in the latest trends has taken its own mental toll.

We face closets bursting at the seams with clothing yet the gnawing feeling of “nothing to wear” persists. With more than half of fast fashion items thrown away in less than a year, it’s clear we can’t buy our way out of this. This workshop intends to address this by re-looking at the way we approach fashion. Whether you’re an #OOTD queen or rock a style that is simple and functional, discover how you can go zero waste with your wardrobe as Melissa shares on how she enjoys an unlimited wardrobe and stays fashion forward, without buying anything new for the last 3 years.

We cover:
  • The 7 different ways we can enjoy fashion sustainably
  • Minimalism and navigating the “need for more”
  • Capsule wardrobes and how to build your own wardrobe that’s ‘just enough’

Audience

This workshop aims to equip every woman with the tools to attain a never-ending stylish wardrobe in an eco-friendly way as we shift towards consuming fashion more sustainably. Take back control of your wardrobe with outfits that not only make you feel good, but saves time, money and the environment!
